To manage and grow a successful construction company in a highly competitive and, at times, uncertain economic environment requires strong management skills, extensive experience and knowledge of the industry, and an ability to be able to see both the big picture and the detail.
Beginning "on the tools" over 38 years ago, Gary has the industry 'know-how' which enables him to manage the diversity of projects his company is contracted to build.
Gary's 22 years of experience as owner / manager of construction companies has seen him adopt new work practices, meet the demands of changing social and environmental requirements, and adapt to working with new products and materials.
His current roles include overseeing and monitoring all of Neo Construct's projects to ensure that the company's reputation for efficient, professional service and high quality workmanship is maintained and delivered across all projects. In addition he actively engages with new and existing clients to build and expand on current relationships and to broaden Neo Construct's project experience.
Director / Chief EstimatorJo Naulty
The visible side of any construction project is the actual worksite where the project takes shape and the architect’s or designer’s vison take shape. Of course none of this could happen without extensive and careful planning and costing work both beforehand and during the construction phase.
Jo Naulty gained a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Economics) from RMIT in 1992 and has been working in the construction industry ever since as an Estimator, a role which is critical to the success of a project, and in his current role with Neo Construct, critical to the success of the business.
In his 22 years in construction Jo has worked on a diversity of residential, commercial, sporting and institutional projects, while specific projects with Neo Construct have included car dealerships, school buildings, churches, medical centres, restaurants, apartments and a range of institutional projects such as laboratories, lecture theatres, and research facilities.
As the Chief Estimator Jo works closely with our clients to provide cost plan and realistic budgets as well as practical design and cost solutions to assist with planning and budgets.
